Looking for tires with some grip

I no longer have the Advan's and I bought some Hankook Ventus V4's. I autoxed this weekend and had absolutely no grip! Genius I know . Besides the Advan's, what other tire would be good? I plan on autoxing and some road course action, don't want to buy a new set of wheels and put R compounds on them. Any advice would be nice, our next event is on the 9th of April. Thanks!

The only thing that comes close to the stock Advan's is the Advan Neova. However, just under those two choices is the Falken 615 and BFG KD's. You won't like the flex of the Kumho MX and the Michelin PS2 is more of an all around summer street tire.

Toyo T1-R looks aggressive and is moderately priced.

Nitto NT01 is an amazing tire. However, it isn't that street friendly. After just a ltitle bit of tread wear it pretty much becomes a slick, and it becomes an ever bigger problem in the rain. It hydroplanes like a ****. But, on the track, it has some of the best traction i have ever seen.

Hmmm, NT01 eh? I may have to look into those. I was looking into the Falken's because they grip well and are relatively cheap. The problem with the Advan's is price.
