Just ordered RT615!
Blizzaks wearing really oddly...
I just ordered my Azenis RT-615 in 255/40R17 for $126 each from Vulcantire.com. Can't wait to get my Blizzaks off.
I do have one question that really bothers me. I bought my Blizzaks brand new in October. They are WS-50s so they are for pretty hardcore winters. I ordered them in the stock size for the stock Evo rims. I drove them about 10k miles between Oct and April. The front two are almost complately bald, but the rear two are almost full tread and look brand new. This really is disturbing as: #1, it looks like I might need to buy two new Blizzaks which aren't cheap, and #2, something is not wearing right up front. Anyone have any ideas?

Every 3-5k miles you rotate your tires from front to rear, and rear to front. Do not go from side to side as most tires are directional. Just to clarify even farther you can rotate the wheel and the tire.
This is standard maintainence on any car.

I see. I guess I'm bit of an idiot then. I'll make sure to do that when I get the new ones put on. Thanks for the heads up. I realized they would need to be rotated, just not as often as oil changes.
Actually your alignment is most likely out of whack ... take your car to an alignment shop and make sure they zero out the front and rear toe. In your case it seems like you may have excessive toe in the front. Toe out or toe in will quickly wear out your tires. You really shouldn't have to rotate you tires more often than every 5K miles.
