What tires should I get?
Ok 10K miles and im in need of new tires............ The Advans the car came with seemed to be great tires but for daily driving the tread wear is little less then desirable.
Can some one recommend a few tires i should look at, I plan on buying them tomorrow morning as I have a flat now. Also was thinking about going a size wider like a 245 what are your opinions on that as well.

Just ordered Falkan RT-615s in 255/40 17. Probably won't last much longer than stock but they should grip better.

I just ordered a set of Yokohamas AVS ES100's in 255/35/18 for my 05. I ordered these from Discount tire direct since they had the wheels I wanted in stock. These are the wheels I ordered : http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...4.3&vid=008389
I've talked with a few people who have them on their car and like them very much. I wanted the Goodyear F-1 but they didn't have my size in stock. However, Discount direct told me that if i don't like them within 500 mi's they will allow me to return them and only have to pay the difference between the tire I would choose. Shipping is included in the price. Now is the best time to upgrade to a larger wheel/tire combo.

Alot of people reccomend Falken RT615s. I decided to go with the flow and order them myself. Was $550 with shipping, so very fair I think. Will cost another $100 or so to have them mounted however.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to see how they do before I can send them back. If they suck as you say, then I'll go with the GY f-1's which is what I wanted originally, they just didn't have my size in stock and I'm down to about 15% tread on my Advans.
