Evo8 rear brake pad replacement???

Evo8 rear brake pad replacement???

How hard is it to replace rear brake pads on a evo? Anybody got step by step instructions on how to replace them? The dealer is charging a arm and legg!!!

EASY! It should take them 1 hour tops. In fact that is even too much. If you are using stock pads that is your expense. How do you wear out the rears before the fronts?

What steps are needed to remove the rear brake pads? I'm going to replace all the brake pads front and rear. Trying to figure out how to remove the pads. The rear brakes are alot different from my Honda. It only takes me 15-20min to change the rear brakes on that car. Very easy. Mitsu dealer wants $500 for parts and labor!!!

drive out the two pins holding the pads in place on the back side of the caliper. No bolts need to be removed (with the exception of your wheels of course) replace one pad at a time, this way the pistons are easier to manipulate. Drive the pins back in. There should be a how-to on this in the "how-to" section. Really simple.
