Rear brake pad replacement question
Rear brake pad replacement question
So my rear brakes have been squealing like the rear pads need replaced. I read some tutorials and checked out the how to article "HOW TO: Brake Rotors and Pads Replacement" seemed easy enough for a simple pad swap.

So I put the car in gear, make sure e brake is off, remove wheel/jack up car. Those 2 pins holding the pads in wont budge. I'm using a cold rolled steel punch and a hammer. Its actually put an indent in the end of the punch being neither pin is budging. These are the original pads, so im sure these pins have never been removed. Is there something im doing wrong? Any idea's tips?

THough a proper sized punch will get you there with the same amount of effort.
