Question suspension problems

Desprate help needed. I just recently swapped my 4g15 for a 4g93t on my 93 lancer and my steering wheel shakes when i brake. I'm using the stock control arm, but new callipers and brakes that came with the 93t. I checked all the bushes, pads, tie rods & everything seems to be fine. I tried using the controll arm that came with the 93t, but they were a bit longer than my stock so i had to put the stock one back cause i couldnt get an alingment on the wheels. I'm also using gabriel gas shocks with the stock springs on 17'' rims with 40 series. What do i have to do? can anyone out there help me?

Did you check your brake rotors for run out? If you have a dial indicator, which you might not, measure the run out on the disc rotors. From what you described to me, it seems that your rotors need to be turned or they may be warped.

I did, well actually the guys at the garage did, and they said it wasnt. Maybe i'll turn it as you mentioned just to see if it helps. The thing is, i dont know what body the 93t came from, should the the control arm fit onto my car or am i doing something wrong and should i try using the control arm that came with the 93t and offset the holes on the struts to align the wheel or what? I'm in Laos but have read about many people doing the same swap, but have never herd about this problem. So you can imagine how difficult it is for me to get any tech. help on this situation here.

I would think the control arm would have to do more with alignment angles, not cause your steering wheel to shake when you brake. How are your front wheel bearings? Any noticeable play in them?

On my first test drive, it pulled and shaked to the right when excellerating very quickly, so i knew it was the bearings. I only changed the one on the right. i just had the rotors resurfaced and the vibrating steering wheel is gone, but now when i brake i can feel my foot wabbeling up and done a bit.
