i ran Pirelli P6 4Seasons on hard packed ice, and snow. they were great, and not too bad on the street either.

Conti's (Extreme Contacts) get my vote.

They were impressive in the ice and snow (for an all season).

I also have the Falken Zeix 512 but my evo has never seen snow/ice. However, they do work really well in the rain and when the temp gets at or below freezing. My neighbor has them on his Mazda 3 and he is very impressed with their winter performance.

Next week im getting either Toyo Proxes 4, Hankook V4 ES, or the p-zero... its a hard decision im leaning towards the Hankooks for $95 a tire.

These are great. Good dry grip and great in rain and snow. I ran these through all kinds of conditions on my WRX and was always impressed

Don't have to worry much about snow here (but it happens out of nowhere at times). I'm about to pick up some Kumho MXs.

I have PZero M&S as well. great rain tire as well!

The price to quality ratio is perfect for this tire.

I'm also in the market for some high performance all season tires for the evo. i want something that i can still drive pretty aggressively in the dry (stiff sidewalls) and can handle snow very well.

Basically this winter the evo is going to be commuted with, and taken on long snowboard trips from Northern NM to Summit County, CO. This means lots of highway miles, hard carving (as much as the tire's limitations will allow) the mountain roads if it's dry or just wet, and mobbing through fresh snow near the resorts.

Edit: I meant Toyo Proxes 4 vs. Advan S.4 vs Pirelli PZero Nero

Which of thses would you choose? The Toyo tread pattern looks like it would be better suited for spirited driving. Tires available through TireRack would be a plus, since I have some perks to buy through them.
