suspension clunk?!

watsup... i got my tein h-tech springs on and its been installed a year ago. A couple weeks ago was when i started noticing suspension clunking or making springy noise. I only notice the noise when i slowly accelerate from first gear or turning my steering to the left, but when its hitting bumps on the road i dont hear any? i checked the struts and the springs are perfectly set on the strut. hopefully someone has the same problem as mine.. thanks people

I have the exact same problem. Its at very low speeds when I go over a speed bump and or turn the wheel when going over it but nothing at any higher speeds

that's odd, i have the same symptoms coming from the front passenger side suspension of my car, but only when you make right turns.

mine is stock though. i have it in to mitsu several times and they have not yet been able to track down the problem. the only idea they had was that the spring keeps rotating around in the housing, but when they realigned the spring it didn't make a bit of difference.

your spring is not seated properly and at full lock where your spring is not under load, as it would be when your car has greater down force at higher speed, the spring is spinning and popping out inside the housing assembly.

just crank on your strut housing bolts and hope it goes away with time. mine did...
