The the metal sleeve inside the bushing will not move. It has to be pressed in so the bushing will not allow it to move. You want it to go with the hole offset towards the ground(when installed) to decrease bump steer and up if you want to increase bumpsteer.

I run these on my personal car. The car seems very stable even when thrown onto the rumble strips.

The ball joint on the end of the arm if you use a pickle fork it will most of the time break the seal around the grease.

I recommend a puller be used instead of a pickle fork

Has anyone actually mapped the bump steer characteristics of the Evo suspension?

IE:

Ride height =0
Compressed 1/2"= 1/16" out
Compressed 1"= 1/8'" out
so on...

I'm just curious how much it actually gains or looses.

Well stock, it should gain toe-in as the suspension compresses. I have not mapped it, but it certainly would be interesting.

I've not really looked at the geometry. I have noticed some pretty "spooky" tendencies when the suspension compresses through a corner occasionally. At first I just thought it was either road undulations/ imperfections upsetting the car or crap rolling around the trunk and but, now that I'm thinking about it I sure it's was the bump steer I'm feeling. Maybe I should fix that.
