hey guys. im going to get lowering springs for now, until im ready for coilovers (so no wait for coilover crap). i have a 2006 IX GSR. i want to get rid of the gap, i want good performance, but i dont want the ride to be bad. i will do mostly street driving with probably an occasional visit to the track (once or twice a year maybe). would you guys recommend the tanabe GF 210s or the tein S techs?
Tanabe GP210:

rear - 291lbs(5.1k)
drop - 2.0f / 0.9r

Out of those two, definitely the Tanabes. Although I would take Swifts or Espelir GT's over the Tanabes.

Tein S-Tech's are really not considered to be an upgrade in terms of performance. In fact, they're a bit of a downgrade. In both handling and ride.
Too low and too soft. Very much a "style" spring. They look nice though.
Swift springs are a very well liked spring for a daily driver that sees track time. Most people agree that they both improve ride quality and performance by a very noticeable amount. They look great too.
Couple reviews on here already from users that are very happy with them. Add swaybars, a bumpsteer correction kit, camber plates, and you are set.

The GF210's are approx 25% stiffer than stock and lower the car. They have a stiffer ride on the street than stock, but this is a good performance addition for track use. You can't have your cake and eat it too!
Do the rest of you wonder how many times this question will be asked on this fourm?
