Thumbs up Caliper rebuild kits found

Thought I'd repost this as a new thread:

Hello All,

Came up with a source finally for the rebuild components. All parts are genuine Brembo pieces. Kit includes 2 x 40mm piston seals, 2 x 46mm piston seals, 2 x 40mm dust boots, and 2 x 46mm dust boots. Price is $85 per caliper. Was hoping to put together a group buy as I cannot guess how long these will be available to me. I'm kinda backdooring them alittle...;-) If you think you want or need them, order them now, otherwise I may loose out and everyone will be back to $120 at the dealer.

Get the Ti shields while you're at it and make your new seals and boots last longer. I'll throw in free shipping to those purchasing both Ti shields and rebuild kits. PM or e-mail me if you are interested. martin@girodisc.com

Thanks,

Martin

Kinda a noob question, but here goes.

With these rebuild kits, is it safe to say we can now take apart the calipers to get powder coated (if needed) and just replace all the seals etc., to have a like new caliper again?

Martin, are you creating these kits, or are they pre-packaged? I just need the dust boots for the front calipers.

I am creating them from loose pieces. Some from here, some from there. I could sell just dust boots for $40 a caliper.

would be interested if

I would be interested if it doesn't take too long to get the rebuild kit all I really need is the one larger front seal if I can get it. The seal is 20487251, or do you think I should just get the whole kit?

I would always do an entire caliper. I one is bad, it went bad for a reason, ie heat, dirt, something. This could be affecting the other pistons in that caliper as well. Always do the whole thing a once.

FWIW
