Suspension gurus: Auto X prep, need help!

I just bought 255/40 RT615s, a Progress 3 way adjustable 25mm adjustable rear anti roll bar, and harness. Then I found out that there happens to be an Auto X Sunday at my local mall. I am having the tires put on tonight, and an alignment done first thing tomorrow along with the rear bar install.

How should i have the car aligned? I have a good alignment guy who is down to do whatever I want.

I only have Tein S-Techs (Boo! They came with the car.) the rear bar, and the 255/40 RT615s on stock wheels. While using the stock adjustments, how should I have it set up?

From what I have gathered, -1.5-2.0 deg. F and -1-1.5 rear with no toe F and a tiny bit of toe R is a pretty safe bet while still being streetable and withing the range of factory adjustment.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as I'm scrambling to get ready in time, with an event I am promoting tomorrow night. Bummer I am exceeding ST-U spec with the 255s. I have to run SMST or STM now. Oh well!

So how long does it take to break the tires in before they are ready to be thrashed on AutoX? Should I take some highway cruises nefore Sun to do so?

You will probably run in TSM...thats what I run in. Street tire/street mod.

I would max out your front camber...you will be limited to basically whatever you can get with the factory eccentric camber bolts. I have adjustable camber plates in the front and they give me -2.5. You shouldn't be able to get that much....probably closer to -1.5 or so. In the rear I would go with -1.0 camber. A little toe is good..but can really wear out the tires. I went with 0 toe. Hope that helps.

I like mine in the middle setting...its very well balanced. If you want the back end to come around easier you can put it in the stiffest setting.

Definitely go for max negative camber up front, and zero toe. A little toe out if you don't mind some tire wear and are looking for more rotation.

I would start with the rear sway on the middle setting and tune from there.....

And get rid of those springs! Pick up some Swifts.

OK, advice taken. The car already handles alot different with the tires alone. I'd love to get some Swift springs because the Teins are definitely not optimal. But between blowing out factory shocks and needing camber adjustment and wanting to change damping settings, I'm just going to hold out until I get coilovers. I got a raise today

Where are the eccentric bolts located? I tried to have the alignment done on the stock suspension and all they did was loosen the top strut bolts and moved it as far in as possible.

I guess thats what I was referring too. They are pretty much all the way in or all the way out.... There is a little adjustment there but not much. They are the upper bolts (I do believe) on the struts.

Oh btw..go for the Espelir GT springs FTW
