springs...

Hey guys! I'm looking to get lowering springs before too long but am having difficulty in figuring out which ones I want. Opinions welcome......

I had Eibach ProKit on my 99 Eclipse and really liked them. I had also replaced my shocks with Tokikos however. I am looking to keep the stock shocks on the evo.

I have heard good things about the Tanabe GF210s as far as compatibility with stock shocks and spring rate. They look good in the pics of other members' rides.

The Tein H Techs look good on the Evo from pictures I've seen, however I'm not sure how long the stock shocks would take it.

I don't drive the evo more than a couple hundred miles a month...it has become my weekend car since my recent divorce. I have a daily driver that I use to commute between my hometown and work in Little Rock which is about 35 miles

Obviously I have searched if I have put my own thoughts on each spring choice. I am just looking for new opinions on these products, not old and dated info from a year ago. If you don't have anything better to offer to my thread, how bout you STFU?

does anyone know the spring rates on the Swift Mach springs? I know that the Tanabe rates are up there...almost the highest, right behind Espelir springs according to this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=66296

yeah but to high a spring rate is not always good the car becomes bouncy like those civics that are slammed that bounce all over the street. hotckis make some springs that lower the car looks nice not super low so it drigin every where and spring rates r stiffer yet no bounce. and they have a very reasonable price.

If you call the hogs @ midnight on Friday you will know what springs to get. I ran Swifts for around a year, if I wasnt using V3's I would still be on the Swifts. So if you want to drive the pig trail you better get Swifts.

Swift Springs: 269lbs and 35mm of drop in the front and 319lbs and 20mm of drop for the rear

awesome! I appreciate your help, fellow Arkansan! The pig trail is a cool drive, unfortunately I live about 2.5 hours south of there.

I've had eibachs for a while and they work great on the street but aren't all that good on the track. I'm looking into getting Swifts pretty soon.
