recommend me some coilovers.
I need a set of coilovers that are very streetable...i dont want to speend more then 1500. I was thinking about the megan but i havent read anything about street drivabilty.....Also i plan to get involved into auto-x to see if i like it soo i will probably end up upgrading to better coilovers but street drivablity is my main concern. can anybody help
For the price and quality package I would go with Megan Racing track series or street series, they go for just over $800. I am not going to give any vendors name , just do a bit of searcxh and you will find them. I have a set of them and I am happy .Carlos

my ride was MUCH improved over the stock "junce". i have a 04 with the SSL. it was night and day difference. i left the settings at the factory setting. im happy with them. i also have a set of TIEN FLEX on my wifes car and it rides the same.

Believe me, you get a lot for that price. Absolutely don't go for just springs, I highly suggest you spent just $300-$400 more and get a coilover kit.
As far is the ride on the MR, yeah, it is a very nice compromise of comfort and efectiveness at once.

the MR coilovers are two way adjustable, hieght & pre-load, plus valve settings too. I would NOT advise buying the cheap type of COs that can only alter the hieght by the pre-load. My vote is for the MR or BC coilovers, track versions.
i recommend zeal function Xs 12kg front and 12kg rear (enthusiast version). i thought this setup was quite smooth for daily driving (mostly fwy). Or you can go with their street version (8kg front 6kg rear setup). Custom spring rates are available with no extra charge.
If you are concerned about comfort, most of the Japanese coilovers are probably going to disappoint you. I would suggest taking a look at the KW Variant 3's. They are VERY comfortable on the street and their build quality is top notch. They also have the advantage of being 2-way adjustable, so they can be set up to properly suit different driving situations, making them a great all-around coilover for someone who uses his or her car for auto-x/track and daily driving. They are slightly outside your price range but in my opinion they are well worth it for what you get.

Nope....subtract something like 600 Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers and you're a lot closer.
Well under 2500, you may be thinking of the KW Competition spec coilovers....
