Interested in buying the NItto 555 for my stock evo8 wheels. Just want you thoughts on these. I seem to be getting a pretty decent price of $108 each on these, thats why I ask. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

 

IMHO, just so so. I would spend a little more $$ buying RT-615

I had the Nitto's on my stock wheels and now on my 18's. The performance is not all that great, you can't really puch the card as you could with the stock tires. I did however get 35,000 miles off of them, in comparison to the 18 I got with the stock tires. Kind of important since I drive so much. The RT-615's are very good, but they are not all the great in the rain, considering the weather down here in FL, I would think twice about it. They won't last as long either.

 

Try a different brand. Nittos are not that great.

 

The RT-615 is much better at about $10 or $15 more per tire, but if you really want something cheap, check out the Hankook Ventus Rs2 Z212. Should be the same price and will kick the 555's butt!

 

The RT looks nice but I'm conserned about the rain with those. Byt can anyone help me how to read the speed rasting and traction on tires. I thought Z rated was the best.

 

Worst tires on the face of the earth. They are so awful in the wet on Evos they should be illegal. I'm not kidding in the slightest.
