man u people r disscouragin, theres not that much trouble to fit a 18X9 +22 wheel with 245/40/18s. in case u havent seen 18x9.5 +15s with the same size tire that fits with only a slight pull of the rear fenders.....and having a 245/40 or a 255/35 IS NOT THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE!!! the 245s will barely get streched on a 9in wheel. and maybe some of u either dont care if ur car looks good, or havent heard of the sunken wheels syndrome. but if im gonna be spendin about 2Gs on a set of wheels i better make sure their gonna look good. so evo150, i say go for the 18x9 +22 cause that will be awsome. and im actually planning on the same set up soon!

heres the post for the 18x9.5 +15https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=233560

maybe a vendor can chime in on this thread and let us know their thoughts. rolling the fenders is not to big of a deal, but i dont want to have the rear fenders pulled.

18x9 +22 will be ok on stock fender evos. you just need to roll or trim the inner rear fenders by a lot more it will look very aggressive tho

As long as your car isn't absolutely slammed to the ground and tucking rim, you should be "ok". I'd highly suggest rolling the fenders, however.

I am definitely debating on the +22 offset now. The +29 sits barely a little inside the fender and I would like a setup that would give it that slightly more aggressive stance.

Would anybody like to chim in on comments?

My RG's with 29 offset sits even with the fenders. They actually come really close to sticking out past the fenders.

What I'd do if I were to do it all over again is I would buy a 18 X 10 with a 12 offset and stretch the living crap out of some 235/40's just to have a mad tite drift looking EVO.

Could you possibly email me pics of your setup? I am considering the RGII's but not sure to choose either a 29 or 22 offset.
