18x9 +22 advans

I am going to be ordering new wheels this week for my dd evo and have decided on the advan rgII in gold in 18x9. i am lowered with tanabe gf210. tires will be falkens 245/40/18 or 255/35/18. now i can go with the typical offset of 29mm but have thought of going a bit more aggresive with the 22mm offset. with a 22mm offset will i have any clearance issues (brakes/body)? rolling the fenders is not a issue, i just dont want the rim to stick out past the fenders. thanks

I believe 29 is pushing it with the stock fenders, and the 22 will stick out even 7 more mm..I'm pretty sure your wheels will be sticking out past the fenders with theese..

I am curious about this as well. Can anyone post pics of their +29 offset including fender shots and how far the rim sticks out in comparison with the fender?

go with a 245 tire, roll your fenders as much as you can, and set the camber as negative as possible lol

IMO.....a 22 offset will be too much for the stock fenders if you want to run any kind of normal camber, the right sized tire, and not have to completely beat the hell out of your car to get them to fit without rubbing.

My rear fenders are rolled with a 18 X 9 29 offset wheel with 255/35 series tire. DO at least a 255 or go with a skinnier wheel. No need to buy a wide wheel if your not gonna put the right size tire on it.

well +29mm offset it is. sounds like to much drama to fit a +22mm offset.
