Which wear out first, front tires or rear tires?

Coming from a RWD car, my rear tires wear out almost twice as fast as my fronts. But now that i have an EVO, I dont have many miles on my car, I wondering, if you didnt rotate your tires, which wear out first? front or rears?

If youre roadracing, which wear out first?

Mostly front because of turning. Although the main factor is the alignment. The wheels that are further out of alignment, will wear the fastest.

I change all four at a time, which im pretty sure is recomended with all wheel drive. But I notice my fronts wear down faster than the rears. Thats why rotation is key.

yah my fronts wore down way faster than my rears but that might have to do with me not knowing how to drive and understeering on my first few autox's and having a bad alignment. just rotate them and get a good alignment

Both my fronts needed replacement long before the rears.

I rotate my tires with every oil change to keep the wear even, and I recommend that other EVO owners do the same.

Like everyone else said... It seems that the front wears out quicker then the back...

went through 4 front tires before doing 2 on the rears.
stock alignment already eats up the tires. With aggressive driving it'll eat em up faster.

Is it ok just to replace the fronts, or replace all four at the same time?
