Have one more question...

I've finally decided to either go with the 5zigen FN01R-C's or Work XD9's. Both of which will allow me to run a wider tire. I was pretty much set on the BFgoodrich TA KDW2's in 255/35/18 but the price difference from that size to 245/40/18 is pretty substantial.

Are there any draw backs to running 245/40/18 over 255/35/18 aside from less contact patch?

Can people with those sizes chime in and let me know how they feel about the tires they have?

Thanks.

are you getting a 18x9.5 or 18x8.5 fno1r-c?? if 18x9.5 i suggest the 255/35/18. as for the work xd9 if you get the 18x9 i would go for the 245/40/18. i know the 245/40/18 has a larger od.

Yeah the overall diameter is:

Stock: 25.33
245/40/18: 25.72
255/35/18: 25.03

And if I do decide the 5zigen, they will be in 18x8.5, between the two I like, the widest is 9 in the XD9's.

The overall diameter is -.3 different for 255/35 but .39 more for the 245/40...
