black rotors!!!

can anyone tell me where i can find black rotors at least annodized if not completely black, ive looked everywhere, for several months and i have not found anything yet, i know they are out there, maybe they are only found in japan, idk, someone help me out if you know of anything. thanks

i wonder how you would anodized rotor rings... they'd have to be aluminum....

Aluminum brake rotors only work on mountain bikes. And even anodizing is a coating and would come off as soon as you used the brakes once.

Project Mu has some that appear to use a very dark metal. I can't tell if it's a black oxide coating that will come off the first time you hit the brakes like the zinc ones do, or if they're actually using a unique type of Iron.

oh wow you call me a newb, you dont even know how much i know about evos let alone how much i work on them..DO NOT mention me as a newb its not appreciated especially someone you dont even know
but like i said i have never been able to find black rotors...either way i have seen them before not zinc plated/annodized but completely black, not the hats either the actual disc...thanks for the help either way

I believe Project MU makes one in black and andolized, not sure. Go to google and do a search for Project Mu brakes.

I didn't call you a newb (even though technically speaking on THIS forum, you are).

I said "A NEWB". I did not specifically mention you or anyone else.

Like it or not, you probably won't be the only person to ever read this thread. Some people might actually use the search feature 6 months from now and come across this thread again. I was just trying to provide specific information so as to avoid confusing a potentail future "newb" reader of this thread.

No need to get all butt-hurt.
