Are TEIN are C R A P ?
Who thinks TEIN flex/mono flex are crap, ride like crap, and have proof or stories of it.
Who's car handled worse and got slower lap times running them?
Im not knocking TEIN, just looking for some stories that would possibly sway me away from buying the mono flex.
Thanks

Of course it's going to ride like crap, because it has stiffer springs. Maybe the reason it does not handle well is that you did not set it up properly, or you don't know how to drive. It amazes how little common sense people have over here.

When i say crap, i dont mean the ride characteristics.....i mean the quaility, construction, and build. I am use to coilover's i have run the cusco zero2r's on my last evo, just wanted to try something different. Im more concerened with quaility and dampening/vavling aspects

Nice Thread Title...why don't you bash a product upon which you have no first hand knowledge.....
From my own experience, Tein has put out some decent product. I had a set of RA's for the evo which I was quite happy with and they have performed better than any other Jap coilover I have driven in the evo (not many, but JIC and Buddy club come to mind). I also had Flex's on another car and I wasn't totally pleased, but that's a different application.
Like someone posted above, with suspension you have to pay to play, especially on a highly tuned factory car like this.
