i am looking for a straight summer high performance tire for the money, i have read some reviews but their are a lot of mixed reviews need to find something ASAP

Hankook z212, Falken fk452 if you want little bit more treadwear for daily driver, both are summer tire Y rated.

 

If you did search and read some reviews, I'm sure you saw that the RT-615s from Falken were recommended over and over and over and over and over and over...

The 255/40-17 fits BELOW your budget range. How's that for finding something ASAP?

I've got 20k on my Nitto 555 Extremes and like them very much. They are much more stickier than the 300AA treadwear suggests, yet they've lasted this long - so it is probably accurate. I've rotated them once since the outside fronts seem to wear the fastest.

These are street tires only. I never launch the car into wheelspin, autocross or drag race, etc. Just spirited street driving, like fun clover leaf ramps, some mountain driving, etc.

I would probably buy these tires again - I think I paid somewhere around $110 or so per tire.
