Suggest a lowering spring brand?

I read up on the thread about the WORKS lowering springs and liked the results....i thought NO-ONE threw them in and EVERYONE used coilovers but lets be realistic...they aint cheap!! On my 86 Turbo Buick i had used Hotchkis and they fit/worked/looked great. Anyone else using any other lowering springs besides WORKS?

i love my swift springs. they ride good, improve handling, don't slam the car, and lower a tad bit more in the front than the back to even out the ride height nicely.

I've had Hotchkis springs on my car for almost a year now, and they work great.

yeh just get used coilovers I got flta2s for 1k shipped, and think about it, springs 280 or so, installation =100 bucks , alignment 100 bucks, you already at 500 bucks, then you bust a strut and you have to buy new ones, just get coilovers not too old but used and they come set up and you dont need to do anything, install for like 100 bucks your set!

If you get a quality set of springs - and not lowering springs - you don't have to worry about 'busting a strut'.
Also, do the install yourself, it's really not that bad at all!

Swift, Espiler GT, Works --> best performance springs. Search; there's tons of threads on these vs.

If you want something just to slam the car; anything will do including cheapo coilovers.

you'll still need an alignment when you install coilovers.

And you still need to install them, so in your case that costs $100.
