Alignment Experts.....I need your help!

I noticed some major tire wear on the inside of the front tires when I was rotating the tires at ~4,000 miles. So, I took it into the dealer for an alignment. They said that they would pay for it if it was out of spec., which it was. But, here is where my problem starts....now the tires are still wearing on the inside of the front tires and are also cupping too.(~1,000 miles on new alignment) So, I think that it is worse now, eventhough it is withing factory specs. They also refused to put new tires on it, under warranty.

So, I know prettly little about alignment specs. Can someone more knowedgeable look at these and tell me what to do? If I can just get another alignment and new tires and be fine, I will do that. I just need to know what to look for on the next alignment. Thanks for your help!

I also just got an alignment due to excessive wear on inside of the front tires. They were feathered, which is an indication of too much toe out (negative toe). This also makes the tire really noisy. My total front toe was -0.24 degrees, which is worse than yours. After the adjustment, total toe is 0.01. My steering even feels better. Your front caster is a little low, but it's not adjustable and has nothing to do with tire wear. Your camber is perfect.

I'm surprised that correcting the toe problem in the front didn't help the tire wear. Toe is the only conceivable reason for it. Maybe you need to give it more time or start with a fresh set of tires. Make sure to keep your tire pressures at the recommended level.

NORMAL!! The evo tire set up gives the inside wear. Happened to me and everyone I know that owns an Evo. Its the camber setting. Soft tires and daily driving equals heat and easy wear on inside of tire due to the suspension not getting pushed and the tire's tread not being maximized by performance handling. Get harder rubber tires for longer life and even wear, but you sacrifice handling. gotta pick your poison!

It's not the camber. It's the toe.

Thanks for the input! I think that I'll go ahead and get new tires and watch them closely.

toe in does cause inner wear as well, but not the case with the Evo factory setting. aggressive camber can due this as well. If it not toe-in, than explain to the world why the the tires are wearing on the inside with good alignment (car not dogtracking when driving)
