Suggessions on my alignment?

Factory alignment gayed me over (toe = homo) (I just hit 10,000 Miles). Finally took a closer look at the inside of my tire, the inside of the tire was compelty trashed, the metal tracing was clearly visible. It was just from the front tires not the rear. Got 4 new sets of tires. If anyone remembers me complaining about how loud the evo was and how i could get the car quieter, it was due to the shape the tires were in, having absolutly no tread on them. now its quiet.

Any suggessions on how i should set my alignment? I prefer to do alot of highway driving. I dont go to the track or drag strip. Looking for a normal highway driving alignment. (Honestly im a noob when it comes to reading this.. so help me out a tad)

(After alignment, Before alignment, [specified range from factory]) all in degrees.

Looks fine to me, all within spec. Is this your first alignment in 10,000 miles? What you have to realize is that our factory suspension is very adjustable. There are many cars out there that won't allow you to adjust camber, whereas we can adjust and tweek every aspect of our suspension. Now because there are more adjustable parts it's more prone to being knock out of whack with potholes, curbs, hard turns, etc. I adjust my alignment atleast one a year but I usually do it every 6 months. Most alignment shops will give you a package deal where you can align your car for free an entireyour after you pay for the package the first time. The factory alignment is also going to have alittle toe whihc isn't bad but you just don't want it excessively.

Wrong. His toe was off on both front tires.

His toe doesn't seem too off to me, not enough to cause significant tire wear...

my tires are doing the same thing but i have 7600 miles but i called yokohoma to see about replacing them for free. you could try calling yokohoma at 1-800-722-9888 and press 2, they will ask how many miles on the tires, have they been rotated, and for phone number and address. then after that they will give you a case number and where to take your car to get looked at.

I called Yokohama too. They assigned me a case number and now they want the alignment specs (before/ after) faxed to them. I guess the next stop is an authorized dealer.

Toe was off by a bit before the alignment from what I can tell.

You might wannaa run a bit more -camber up front.
You can leave it at what you have if you do a lot of highway driving daily.

I have my toe at almost 0 and run about -1.5 camber on each corner.
My rear camber are set at -1.0 and a touch of toe-in in the rear.
It's been about 7k miles and my tires are wearing pretty evenly.

what do you expect yokohama to do? I had the same problems and just got new tires at 11k miles. I'll post my alignment specs when i get home from work, but yeah mine were way off too... I wonder if mitsu had a wrong setting for a x number of cars... lol

well, i was told set all toe to 0.00, or as close as possible. you would probably lose a tiny bit of handling, but you will save $1000 on tires! LOL
