can any tire/wheel shop patch tires?
I have an Azenis RT615 w/ less than 5kmiles on it that has a nail in the tread. I didn't even know until I removed them for the winter because it wasn't leaking.
What would be a safe and cost effective solution if I plan on tracking the car? Should I just replace it or will a patch hold up? Maybe I should just leave the nail in considering it doesn't seem to leak??

I had many cars patched and not one failed again at the same point it was patched even when the car was tracked.

Yeah I saw your original post and I immediately contacted tire rack to ask them what the final cost would be. They haven't gotten back to me yet so I was fishing for other people's experiences with this.Originally Posted by rice_rocket88
If you read my original post.. YES get it from tire rack and get them to shave it.
Thanks!
