The Enkeis RPF1 are great value for money. Cheap and lightweight (15.5 lbs per rim in 17x8).

Cheap, Light, Strong

As with a lot of things...you can only have 2 out of the 3.

How much are you looking to spend? How bad are the roads in your area? How light do you want your wheels to be?

I know guys that swear by SSR Comps or Volk TE37s. Both are light, decently strong, and cheap (relatively).

cheap? man, i wish volks were considered cheap to me! for cheap, decent rims, i'd go with the enkie RPF-1's, 5zigen FNO1R-C, or some rota's.

I love these Enkeis that I have. Honestly I don't know their weight compared to stock wheels but they are cheap. OR52's

Box Rocket's Enkeis are NOT light.

But the RPF1's, RP03, NT03+M, RPM2 are
So are the 5zigen FN-01RC, and a few of the Rota's.

Tirerack has the 17x8.5 (5x114 35mm offset) SSR GT7 wheels on sale right now. They are fairly light (18.5 lbs each; I confirmed the weight when I received my set), good construction since they are semi-solid forged and at the price they are selling them, even cheaper than the 5Zigen FN01RC.
