need help..wheel studs to long...

i have a 15mm spacer with extended studs in the back. the old stud pushes the rim like 3-4mm. my question is is it safe to ride the rear wheels with a little gap in between them??

I'd cut the old studs before I would ride with a gap! Put a spacer on a spacer and roll your fenders.

Anything but ride with the gap on.
