rock between brake and rotor!

i think my brakes ate a pebble of some sort, everytime i brake, i have this horrible braking noise like a rock is between there, im gonna try to take it out by dissasembling the brake , how hard is it? is it ok to ride it out? 50 miles so far.
has anybody has experince with pebble and brakes?

it took you longer to post than it does to check.

pulling your wheel off is the hardest part.

+1. Just check it. If you don't, you could score the rotor and that's bad.

How many miles on the brake pads? It's also possible the brake pads are bad and need to be replaced.

+1 I wouldnt be surprised if the pads are worn down and thats wats causing the noise.

my bet is your pad is gone, and you're metal on metal between the pad backing plate and the disc.

Usually when there's a rock in there it's a constant griding or squealing noise that will change when the brakes are applied (sometimes not, depending on rock placement).

A squealing or grinding noise when the brakes are applied makes me think it's bad pads, since most pads are designed to squeal when they're worn to a certain point.
