I was wondering what springs would be best for the MR shocks.

If you don't mind waiting a week or two, I plan on getting the newly introduced springs from GTWorx.
I'll post my reviews as soon as possible.
I am definitely excited about the springs.
Here's their thread.

Swift are the best springs for stock suspension... but the drop is minimum
i got the Tanabe's and it rides very close to stock and drop was about 1.4-1.5

A bunch of us are waiting for the GTWorx/Racecomp Engineering springs. It appears that they are in the mail. "Best" depends on what you want, really. After a lot of research, my personal top pics were GTWorx, Swift, & Hotchkis but I know people rave about the Works and Tanabee GF210 springs. I'll admit that I'm a bit worried that the GTWorx springs will be either not low enough and/or too stiff (I'm buying them with no really good customer reviews and only a few pics on the car), but Andrew (at GTWorx) really built them up to be the way to go with the stock VIII/IX/MR struts and shocks. I've been burned on suspension set-ups on my '01 Audi S4 and my '00 VW GTi. I'm putting faith in the GTWorx springs! They better be good! :-)

I have the Works springs on my MR. I also had them on my old 03 GSR. They maintain the stock rake angle and lower the car .9" f&r. Ride is very smooth, and the front of the car doesn't sit so low that it hits driveways, etc.

The Swift springs are also excellent, and the new GT Worx may be excellent as well.

These three don't drastically lower the car.

For the MR it's best to use either Espelir gt or swift springs with the bilsteins. I personally have the GT's.

Do a search, you'll fing threads on this

Just to give you the bullet points on the WORKS springs

-15%-20% increase in stiffness without sacrificing ride quality.
-Lightly progressive spring rate
-With our in-house shock dynamometer, we matched the Ride Springs to the factory KYB and Bilstein damping.
-Brings the EVO down 23mm (.9") at both front and rear for a lower center of gravity while maintaining the factory rake for optimal handling.
-Powder coated to resist corrosion.
-Comes with the WORKS exclusive factory-matched warranty.
-You can also opt for a 30mm (1.2") drop.
-Our Ride springs are sold by Mitsubishi dealerships

Hope this information is helpful
