Little weights on wheels

I have just recently got my wheels back from powdercoating. So, I went to tireplus and got some new tires for my wheels. However, I found these little silver weights on the inside of each wheel. I'm just wondering what those weights are and what do they do?

I hope you mean balance weights. All wheels have to have them somewhere. If not on the outside of the rim, then glued to the inside.

They are there to stop excessive wheel vibration when you are driving the car.

They are simply weights applied with adhesive to balance the wheel so you don't get vibration when driving.

At least they mounted them on the insides. The stupid mitsu factory put them on the outside on all cars. You could also use the stick on kinds. They just end up falling off after time though.

I thought they reduced drag and gave me an extra 1/10 in the 1/4.
