Whose running a 255 or wider?

Tell me your rim/tire combo......

I'm trying to figure out if a 265/35/18 will work with a 18x8.5 or 9 inch rim and what offset.....

From your guys experience.....what works? what doesn't........?

thanks much

255 should work just fine. I'm running a 275/35 on a 18x9.5 +38 and only needed front fender pulling and rear rolling to get it to work.

I run a 255/35/18 on a 18x9 ce28n with a +35 offset

I have pretty decent clearance lowered on work mr specfic springs

if I was to run a 265 I'd probably have to roll the rear fenders

265 = more than likely modifying fenders

Thanks guys. Keep the responses coming....

What i'm trying to do is run a 265/35/18 tire on an 18x9 +35mm on my evo.

I'm running ohlins coilovers with a light drop and the fenders in the rear are rolled.....

Think i'll have any issues?

Same set-up. 255/35/18 18x9 +35 lowered on swift springs. No rolling required.

everybody and their brother runs a 17x9 +35 or 18x9 +35.

you may get some very minor rubbing on the inner fender liner up front, but it won't affect anything and will only rub once in a while like while turning at high g's or under hard braking.

even if you track the car it's not worth worrying about unless you plan to lower the car like 2 or 3" and make it look all ghetto.

I ran a 18X9 +29 with 255/35's and had to roll my rear fenders. I was lowered on HKS HiperMax 2 coilovers and it wasn't slammed by any means.

I'm in the process of fitting 265 35 18s on NT03+M 18x9.5s +27 with 12mm spacers (minimum spacer you can use). It looks like I'm not going to need to roll the front fenders with my alignment and ride height, but the tires are hard into the front fender liner (toward the rear of the car) with anything remotely close to full lock. It looks like cutting into the liners is unavoidable. This isn't just an issue at full lock.

NT03+M 18x8.5 +38 running 255/40/18 no fender rolling or pulling. Do have slight rubbing inside front fender lining on rear of fender.

Running a 255/35/18 on 18x9" +30 offset dropped on Tanabe springs with no rubbing.

Alot also depends on the tire and your alignment. I may try a 265/35/18 next go around.
