Any difference in spring rates between Evo VIII & Evo IX?

After doing a little searching, it would appear the EVO VIII's springs rates are 180/225 lb-in F/R. I'm assuming that's correct?!? Anyway, were there any changes in spring rates between the EVO VIII & EVO IX? If so, what are the spring rates for the EVO IX?

Coming from owning a WRX & currently an STI, odd to see higher rates in the rear, as the STI's rates are 224/194 lb-in F/R. I can only assume the EVO's higher rear rates have more to do with the multi-link rear suspension vs inverted strut, as a multi-link/double-wishbone would in theory have a smoother ride than a strut type with the same rates. Either way, to anyone with any info regarding the EVO IX's spring rates, it's greatly appreciated!

Correct, the EVO MR rates are slightly different from the regular EVOs. The rear springs on the EVO have higher rates partly due to the different motion ratio of the rear from the front.

Good to know, I wasn't aware the MR had different rates. What are the rates for the MR? I know the shocks were valved differently, but was always under the impression the spring rates were the same. I guess I learn something new everyday.
