Both the Swifts and our GTWorx springs are great. The Swifts lower the car a little more then ours, but are a little softer. Pick which ride height you like better.

You can add a rear swaybar and some Whiteline bushings if you like, but for just a DD, you don't really need to.

just my opinion....
Where would you rank the Bilstein PSS9 on your list?

Tough call. Kinda near 1, but it's a very different feel. Very comfortable, but still feel like coilovers. Really really good coilovers with great valivng though.

Cool, right now they are the top pick on my list based on the research I've done. If my budget allows next year I'm getting those. Separate adjustment of compression and rebound in particular are key for me.

In that case, KW's would be worth looking into. A true 2 way for under 2k. The provided rates (9k/6k) aren't great though, custom rates are recommended.

What custom rates do you recommend for mostly DD, but the odd auto-X or track day (2 or 3 a year)?

Wait...are you saying the PSS9 combine rebound and compression in one adjustment? If so that really sucks, if anything a single adjustment product should keep compression fixed and adjust rebound only.

I'll definitely give the KW's a hard look since they are a true 2 way.

Yeah, rebound and compression with 1 knob. Not my thing really.

Ohlins single adjustment is rebound only, the way it should be.

We've been really happy with KW.

7k front and 8k rear is a popular set-up of ours for that kind of usage. Great handling, and ride quality is still good too.

This is kind of off topic, but you have looked at these:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=zzyzx

They've generated a bit of buzz in the subaru community but evom hasn't really been talking about them. They are priced similarly to the KWs (once you add camber plates and rear topmounts).

That's funny, I just started reading up on the zzyzx earlier tonight to learn more about them. Thanks for the link, I'll definitely consider them when the time comes.

Chris is right, Swift if you want the drop.

They look pretty good. Koni is good stuff and zzyzx knows what he's doing. Their 2 ways are a bit more then KW's, but I'm sure they're great.

To be fair, it is not really and apples to apples comparison. The zzyzx price includes custom springrates and has a trick bolt on the lower bracket that allows enough camber to forgo plates for a lot of applications.

I don't really know much about the KWs, but I read somewhere that they also use koni inserts. Is this true?
