I'd get one of the most expensive sizes and sell them.

the weight of the 17 and 18's may be marginally different but the weight of the wheels generally aren't.

I don't really have the time to buy then sell a set of tires to then buy another set. Thanks for the info but i will stick with 17's and actually drive on them

go with the 245's if you are on stock size rim 255 is pushing it

but you're ignoring a couple improtant facts.
(1) most of the weight of a wheel is on the outside of the rim
(2) this weight is further away from the center so it's a lot worse then just "more rotational mass"

this is why traditionally race cars have the smallest wheels that will clear big race brakes.

not really it's the golden standard for oversized tires for evolution owners on stock rims. not to say that a wider wheels wouldn't be better.

you do agree that everything being equal a 17in wheel from the same company will weigh less than an 18in?

after I wear out this set of tires purchasing new 18's will be more expensive than new 17's

plus my car isn't lowered 18's look silly on a stock height evo.

all that being said, im getting 17's, i see no point in 18's
