I love my ferodo DS2500's so much! They are the best pads I've ever owned.

Ferrodo. Quiet, Excellent stopping power, silky smooth rotors.

I love the Ferodos but mine make *TONS* of noise under light pressure (i.e. traffic).

Maybe this is a lubrication issue; I took it to the dealer to have them change the brake fluid at the same time as the pads - I'm guessing they didn't lubricate anything when they changed the pads. Who knows, maybe they didn't even use the shims.

Ditto on pad bite, fade resistance, and capability. The car literally stands on its *NOSE* now.

Ferodo DS2500 are great recommend them in a heart beat. I cant say where I got from on here cause there not a vender but a racing brake specialist. PM where I found the best price I could find anywhere and great service with a great website.

i went with the ferodo's .. installed them last week..

i like them they bite good..

still kind of loud when about to come to complete stop, and sometimes when stopping when going in reverse..

however they are new, and I can tell they haven't worn my rotor to shiny yet, so that might have a lot to do with it..

all in all.. great pad,,, lil to much for me though.... should of went with something a little less race oriented though.

Ferodo FTW. Mine have been great for daily driving and track use - if you have god fluid and cooling ducts.

I'd go PF 97's if you get more track minded and want the next step up.

Do others have the same experiences with the brake dust ruining their rims with the DS2500's?

I currently have Hawk HPS pads right now and regularly autocross. At first they gave me some squealing the first couple months, but now I have no noise at all. Very little brake dust compared to stock. Their initial grip sucks, I need to floor the brake pedal to the firewall for it to stop properly. If I only drove on the streets, these are perfect, but on the autocross tracks, it gets annoying to leg press the pedal when I need hard braking. I'm upgrading pretty soon to get rid of these, I'll try these Ferodo's probably.
