Ohlins suspension for the 8??

Well I know Claudius runs ohlins setup over in europe, and from my slight ducati background I know Ohlins suspension is top notch. I wanted to know if they made or were going to make a setup for the 8? If anyone has any info I'd appreciate it.

I think the set for the Evo 7 would work correctly. I know a member on the forums here in the US has the race version as well. If he is lurking maybe he can comment on them.

I will check some older emails as I spoke with a rally tuner shop out of Chicago and the owner had an Ohlins coil-over set-up on his Evo VIII. He said it was great, actually a little less abrupt than the stock set-up but noticeably better (hard to believe I know). He also had one extra set on the shelf. I think the price was $2200 if I remember correctly.

Ohlins is kick-@$$, and for me the only suspension upgrade I would personally consider for my EVO. Wish I had the extra bucks!

I will try and get the contact info if anyone is interested.

N10S, I'd love to get that contact info off of you along with any other info you can give me about the ohlins coil over setup. Is the setup for the 7? If so is there any welding/cutting or other modification to make it fit? I'd rather have a basically bolt up coil over kit and I too would love to run ohlins. Top notch race bike suspension, I'd assume they carry the quality into car suspension as well.

Can anyone get this suspension for a better price?

Dropped him an email. Does anyone have any more info or any kind of feedback on the ohlins suspension on the evo 8 or any evo for that matter?
