I am getting swift spec r's on my evo 8 gsr. I am also getting Rota boost 18x9 wheels. The swifts drop the car 1.4 front, 0.8 rear. I need to know what size Bridgestone potenza's to get on the car to fill in the wheel well gap nicely without rubbing at.

Seriously, you should not be looking at getting tyres based on whether it will clear your arches, but rather that they are a proper fit for your rims so you do not comprise sidewall strength.

255s are the ideal width for 9" wide rims, and whether you go for 255/40/18 or 255/35/18 is a matter of preference -- the former is 2.8% oversized, while the latter is 1.2% undersized. I would recommend going for 255/35/18s, but that's a personal preference

I'm running a +30 offset and they clear my arches fine, with no rubbing on the insides.
