I don't know if you'd get 10k miles out of RA-1's. My set started in January 07 with a trip to Laguna Seca and back, then about a month on the street. DAMN what a fun tire!!! And you know you want to have FUN all the time... but I probebly went from 4/10s to 2/10's in a month. At $800/set, just too much dough for me to replace 3 or 4 times a year. But its a great tire!! I'm hoping for a great deal on NT01's next. I don't drag race so I can't help you with how it would work. btw: I'm up in Oceanside. And I'd suggest looking up Alan678 on socalevo.net. He drags at the Q often.

Thanks for your input! I know Alain pretty well. He's done some installs and tuning on my wife's Evo. I've even ran against him at the Q. He is currently rolling on some budget beaters.

I am very happy with my Nitto Invo's. I've been running them for about 2 weeks now.

-excellent dry grip
-damn amazing wet grip
- super quiet
-very comfortable ride
-sharp steering response
-Inexpensive for ultra high performance ($170)
-looks great, people think it's a sort of street-slick

Everything I was looking for in a tire.

I vouch for RA-1's too, though I have set of street tire so I can get the most out of the Toyo's
