225/45/17, ok for an Evo?
warrtalon, I signed up here years ago and remember hearing mention of your name a lot over the years, both good and bad. Regardless, you always seemed to know what you were talking about. Can you offer some feedback to my previous post? These would be for a street driven car, doing somewhat spirited driving.

- Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec
- Dunlop Direzza Z1
- Bridgestone RE-01R
- Falken RT-615 (inferior to the above two)
- 235/45-17 (stock size)
- 255/40-17 (closest to stock diameter and fits on stock rim)
- 245/40-17 (shorter than stock tire, but close)
- 245/45-17 (taller than stock tire and chance of rubbing)
so 255/40's are straight for the stock rims. im def. getting a set of those next time i didnt know you could go so wide on the stock rim.
