pulsing of brakes...

Guys,

I have a general brake question. I have pulsing of brakes on my beater 325 BMW (not my Evo). If I am light on the brakes it will pulse. But when I am very firm of the brakes, it doesn't occur. Am I to assume these are my brakes pads instead of rotors? Appreciate the help.

It can be anything. Even improperly torqued wheels can cause it. If you can live with it till you need a pad change then you're ok. If not. You need to change your pads and rotors.

have you looked at them? it could be rust forming on the rotors, its your beater...so does it sit alot?

replacing your pads will most likly not solve your problem....

4 wheel disk brakes? or does it have drums in the rear?
