lifespan of brake pads?

I have 11,000 miles on my IX and was wondering how much more life i should expect out of the front and rear pads. I dont track the car and do some spirited driving from time to time. thanks

My REAR pads wore out before my fronts. At about 16K I had to replace them. Then at about 18K I had to replace the front pads. That was just MY situation. I to do not track the car...but I do drive hard.

20k here and both front and rear brake pads are very good. 50% of the time I drive aggressively, however I do downshift and engine brake quite often. Clutch is still very good too ... still waiting for both to wear out so I can throw in some Hawk HPS and Heavy Duty clutches!

I had to replace front and rear pads at 24,500 miles. Passenger rear was the worst.

MY fronts were almost done at around 13,000 miles. At 13,500 miles i did an overhaul of my brake system (baer 2-piece, ferodo ds2500, stoptech lines, super blue)...

I guess it depends how you drive the car... I have even heard for pads going in less than 5000 miles from people who tracked their car like crazy!!!

^^ 35K for me too. My rotors had to be replaced too since I had a few autoX days as well as a few canyon drives Hawk pads all the way around this time.
