Time for new tires

Well the time has come. 10,000 miles. Do I stay with the Yokohamas or go down another road so to speak. I thought about Nitto..... Have heard nothing bad. I thought about Toyo.... Toyo to soft. I heard Falken was even a reallly good tire for the buck. The application would be mostly road use. I occasionally drag race though. Anybody have a suggestion?

It's hard to beat the stock tire for outright grip without resorting to an R-compound tire. Personally I'm switching to the Pirelli P-Zero Nero for street use and then using either the stock tire or the Yokohama A032 for track days and weekends in the mountains and canyons.

Did you go with the 245's or the 225's?

stock tires were specially designed for our car and are basically the best option. Tirerack can confirm this.

I'm a fan of Bridgestone SO3 Pole positions. You'll give up alittle handling but the ride won't be quite as harsh since the sidewalls aren't as stiff as the Advans. depends what you're looking for.
