Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else who uses the ASD springs has cut their bump stops during install? I didn't but wondering if i should....I'm also pretty sure I blew a shock..any relation between these events?


PS any known issues with sqeaking noises coming from stock shocks? car has about 20k about it

 

I've got 40k on my 03 and no squeaking. I'm picking up the ASD's in about an hour from a local shop so I'll post back after the install re: the bump stops.

edit: Didn't cut the bump stops. Very subtle drop so far...hoping things will settled in and lessen the space even more.

 

interested in the asd's actual drop as some people say it drops more than the 20mm as stated

 

Just installed Eibachs on my 06/ RS.........Eibach specifically notes in their instructions not to cut the bump stops......The drop is very conservative at approx 20mm or 3/4" plus........Best Regards to all, Joe
