Intrax spring install help!
Okay here's the story. I'm about to install my new intrax springs. I know what I'm doing and have read RRM's spring install how-to just in case so I feel very confident. My question is, does anyone know if I need to cut my bump stops? I know progress reccomend you cut the bump stops when installing their springs and intrax has a similar drop but It didn't say anywhere in the install notes to cut the bump stops or not to cut them. Any help would be nice.
Hey there I just installed my Progress Springs last weekend after having them for a few months. I called RRM and they are now saying Progress recommends you DON'T cut the bump stops.
Now that being said if the instructions that came with your springs say to cut them, cut them if you don't have to don't. If you really want to very call intrax and ask them I"m sure they have a phone#.
On a side note, the front struts are a ***** to take apart with out an air wrench so I recommend renting one if you don't have access to one.
I'm also actually writing up my install with pics as I write this and have a thread going in the lancer install forum. should be done today.
Good luck!
