I see no problems with them besides they copy every classic wheel that's made. For cheap wheels they look good.

The R usually denotes a more aggressive offset with their wider wheels

^ it's retards like you who try and make rota wheels look bad. at least have the ***** to post up the story of what happened to that car. the guy posted it on the forums.

he swerved while on the freeway to avoid a deer and his car flipped several times in to a ditch. gee if a car lands full force on one cast wheel do you really expect it to hold up?

If you're on a low budget ...I say go for it, Rotas will holds as strong as any cast alloy wheel out there.

As for me, personally I dont like cheap wheel brands on my Evo so I try to avoid running Rota on my evo but on the other hand I do have a set of Rota on my civic.

doesn't Enkei also cast their rims not forge? I believe O.Z. Racing also has a casting process not forging.

So what is the difference between the Rota rim that is cast and Enkei and O.Z. Racing that are a well known quality rim that are cast as well.

I don't have any Rota rims nor do i rag on anyone who has them, because to each his own. But I would just like to know is their casting process different than any other known rim company.

No, they COPY some sick styles of wheels. Its like drinking Kroger Dr. Phizz and saying its as good as Dr. Pepper.

I like originality and quality. Making money by having none and trying to copy someone else is super lame IMO.

I've never run Rotas and never will. I'll keep rocking stock and saving up for "real" wheels.

I'm sorry but how do you even consider that a good "source" for info. They posted pictures of post accidents just like you did. The fact is Rota wheels meet all JWL/VIA standards and are very durable wheels. I own a set of Volk Racing wheels and a set of Rota's, too bad my Volk's have a bend in the lip I drive the same roads everyday with the Rota's and they have never had a single issue, I love them

Can you find pics of other company's broken rims, Are car's with Rota's the only ones that crash?

On a serious note, The Rota's I've seen look to be quality, I'd give them some respect if they could sell some of their own designs.
