Auto-x tire pressure for Dunlop Star Specs
Im autocrossing my car this weekend and im trying to find ideal pressures for the front and rear tire. And also wanted to see what pressure most of you guys are running as well. Im running the the Dunlop Direzza Sport Star Specs in 255/40/17 on the stock BBS se wheel.

I'm running the same tires.
I've tried some different pressures. Just make sure you don't go as low as 32psi in the fronts! I rolled them over so bad. I think I normally run aboutu\ 36F 37/38R.
I'd like to see others opinions on what they run though too!
EDIT, those are cold pressures FYI.

I'm running an X on the stock yokos, so I've got a bit more weight to deal with...
But a lot of it depends on the surface. We've got one lot here where I have to run 45/50 (f/r) in order to get any rotation.
Most lots I start out 40/40 and chalk the tires to see what I need to do.

i know that beyond 42 they get to soft and u start sliding... i think the best operating pressure for me is starting with 34 on front and 35-36 on the back. it works for me with the stock suspension and i sway on the back..
And on the track i started with the same pressure and when i got out they were like 42-43 front and back and it still felt good.

Cold. At 50# cold on a 100* day, the tires were up to about 55-56# after a 1 minute run and a bit of cooldown.
Obviously you don't want to drive with these pressures around town, and I let the air out after my 6 runs were done.
Also, if it's really hot, bring out the ol' spray bottle and spray the tires after your runs to help cool them down.
