Brake making knocking noise
Brake making knocking noise
I changed the brake pads (all 4 corners) and turned the rotors @ the brake shop. Now, it's making knocking noise under hard braking at the front left corner. It sounds like something is hitting every one revolution during hard braking.
I checked that the caliper screws are secured - they are. Checked the pad clearance....no problem. Checked if anything is on the edge of the rotor, nothing. The pedal has no pulsating feeling, which indicates no warping.
What else should I look at?

I am having exactly the same problem. Also posted but no one was able to post back. I replaced my brake pads with Hawk HPS front and rear pads. Also resurfaced the rotors and have the same knocking noise while braking hard. I wonder if the rotors were resurfaced properly....
