well i guess not many people have these, they came in yesterday and no top hats/pillow ball mounts. has any one tried it both ways, and if the pillow ball is the only way to go? also the instructions only have about 2 pages in english and the rest is german...??
Well, I can't be of any help really but try sending a PM to Robert Fuller aka Robispec. I'm sure he can answer any and every question you have about the KW's. His EvoM name is Robi.
Or try Scott, EvoM name is Stinji@Robispec

thank you for your help.
thank you for your help.
what exactly do you need help with?
my suggestions. set both compression and rebound dead in the middle.
if you are going to be not scientific about ride height, I would say "two finger" gap in the front and about 1 in the rear give or take(god sakes get the car corner balanced when possible+ do not "slam" the car for looks, you would like as much travel as possible while finding that happy medium which even I dont know exactly).
I would order a stiffer spring for the rear but it isn't necessary if not tracking.
use the stock strut mounts. (until you need aftermarket and you will find a time when you need them in the front if you get serious into tracking)
if not tracking set front camber to -1.8* to -2.0*, and rear to about -1.0* to -1.2*
zero the toe all around.
these settings will be nice on the tires(wear), handle okay, and provide a firm but compliant ride.
I would read up on suspension and damper settings while saving up to have a pro set up the suspension so you know what every little thing does.
Now I am not a pro so if someone who knows better than me please correct where you see fit.
These are just settings deduced from what I read and have deduced through my experiences and what I see as a daily drivable setting.

thank you for the help^^ i installed them today. i had tein s#!t tecs on there before, just reused the stock mounts i raised it up about 1 in up in front and .5 in in rear and kept the camber about the same as previous as to not alter the other settings to badley till a pro tune. The hardest part was getting the front strut upper nut to go on with out spinning the shaft, which i must add is much smaller than even the oem unit, guess thats due to twin tube? also plastic spring pertch, bare spots on the springs from were they were hung to paint and dificult to use the allen wrench to adjust the lower adjustment on the front struts?. well first impressions with onley wacked out guessing adjustments were.. O MY GOD....did i just install some kind of magnets that are sucking the car to the pavement! i
just cant wait to get thes set up. beleve it or nat i think that those springs were havinng a bad effect on your relationship beceause tonight i fell back in love with her.. lol
any way i still have some questions on the front and rear which is which as far as the upper and lower adjustments and a good choice for a good quality good price!! upper pillow mounts the camber bolts work pretty well just would like to have that solid mount to get the most out of the shocks. also i noticed that the lca to spindle and lca to strut in rear were rubberie so i think i will look into pressing in some sphericle bearings on place the before alingmente
all in all i would say it was a

this is what you want todo:
1) BEFORE removing you current struts - MEASURE the current ride height on flat ground (ie centre of the wheel to bottom of wheel arch) make sure you pick a repeatable spot...
2) I went for whiteline MAX-C's camber tops on the fronts, they are great... If you use them you need to buy spacing washers for the top of the KW's under the Max-C's and also spacers for the camber adjusting bolts.
3) Depending on your road roughness in your area you will probably want to run quiet low bump settings (i run 1/4 hardness - ie 3/4 down from full stiff)
4a) Get a full corner balance - if you didn't keep the original ride heights)
4b) Get a full wheel alignment (get the to use the camber BOLTS to adjust camber, rather than the top hats)
