Adjusting Megan Coilovers

Simple question really... I've had the megan street coilovers on my car for almost a year and wanted to drop the ride height a little. Do I have to take the coilover off the car to adjust the height? I tried doing this the day before I got my alignment done last year but I couldn't get them to turn on the car.

You need to get the wheel off of the ground--jack the car up, put it on a jack stand. My trick to getting coilovers level is count the threads. It'll take a while this way, but you need to get the sprung weight off of the spring to adjust it. Also hit the threads and locking perches with some wd40 and clear as much dirt out of the threads as possible

no need to take the whole coilover off. Just jack it up, take the wheels off and adjust
